Congratulations!

Arizona Print Group member Jo Andersen received a Purchase Award by the University of Arizona’s Special collections library for her book, Santa Cruz River Watershed.  This beautiful hand bound book illustrates the challenges and responsibilities desert dwellers face with water consumption.

 

Jo is our expert in hand bound books and lead the effort in producing two books for the 10 x 10 collection celebrating Arizona Print Group’s tenth anniversary

Yavapai College Hosting 10×10 Exhibit

 

Arizona Print Group’s 10×10 exhibit celebrating our tenth anniversary is moving to Yavapai College Art Galleries.  The exhibit runs from Jan 8 to Feb2, 2013.

 

Arizona Print Group will host a reception on Jan25th, 5 – 7pm

 

The gallery is located on the campus of Yavapai College, 1100 E. Sheldon, Prescott, AZ

10×10 Exhibit at Paradise Community College Gallery

The Center For Performing Arts Gallery at Paradise Valley Community College would like to invite you to their upcoming exhibit “Celebrating 10 Years: Prints by the Arizona Print Group”. The Arizona Print Group is an association of artists dedicated to the creation of unique and limited edition fine art prints. Their diverse membership employs a wide array of fine art printing techniques. “Celebrating 10 Years” will be open November 5-30, 2012, M-F 9am to 5pm. Tohono Chul Park “Water: An Exploration in Prints”

I want to thank you for your contributions, making this not only a rousing inquiry into the many-varied printmaking techniques, but a fascinating meditation on the subject of water! Arizona Print Group Exhibits in Glendale and Tucson

 

The Arizona Print Group invites you to our exhibit at Glendale Community College Celebrating Ten Years of fine art printmaking.

This exhibit will travel to Paradise Valley Community College in November, 2012 and Yavapai Community College in January, 2013.

The Arizona Print Group turned ten years old in 2011 and decided to commemorate their milestone with an edition of 10-inch by 10-inch prints. In 2012, this edition will be exhibited in venues across the state including Glendale Community College, Paradise Valley Community College, and Yavapai College in Prescott, Arizona.

Looking Forward to 2012

2012 promises to be an exciting year for the Arizona Print Group. This year we celebrate the tenth anniversary of the group. To commemorate this event members are creating an edition of prints measuring 10 inches square. The prints will be bound int

o handmade books.

Our first group show will be held during Art Detour, March 17th and 18th, at the Arizona Center. We will post a formal announcement once the details are final.

Thank you to our friends who have supported the Arizona Print Group. We look forward to visiting with you in 2012.

Arizona Print Group Juried Exhibition
