Printmaking has an element of surprise which allows me to explore. It gives me an avenue to experiment in image and technique. Therefore, the subject of my work has been about self-discovery. It is a reflection of everyday life to my desire. The symbol of a tree conveys my search for the unique and the many. I love the idea of a tree which grows and gives life but yet, it provides the basic needs such as shelter and food for others. It is a form that is around us everyday from its physical being to its byproduct such as paper. It is also a means in which allows me to communicate.
